Bunny lover T.M.R. Arthur has been drawing pen-and-ink rabbit cartoons for years and began posting them on the social networking site bunspace.com in 2009. She compiles her drawings in her new collection, Drawn to Bunnies: A Collection of Rabbit Cartoons (published by AuthorHouse).

Drawn to Bunnies is a collection of single-panel cartoons about rabbits, explains Arthur. It is held together by a narrative from my oldest rabbit, Sundae, who appears on the front cover. The book provides an insider’s view of the life of the average rabbit, and is thus presented in scrapbook form.

Poised to delight bunny lovers everywhere, Drawn to Bunnies paints a full portrait of rabbit life. Rabbits are a lot more organized and lead much richer lives than one might think, says Arthur. Even those of you familiar with rabbits will be surprised to learn about such things as one- and two-piece bunnysuits, the invention of the self-cleaning rabbit and the teamwork needed for rabbit travel.

Drawn to Bunnies is suitable for all ages and, says Arthur, is a great learning tool for understanding rabbits.

The book helps to humanize rabbits, and raise them above the level of food, fur and Easter symbols, says Arthur. For having less than a tablespoon or so of brains, rabbits are actually pretty smart.
